The Alpine Newt live in Central Europe, Southern Europe and on Italy and Iberian Peninsula

It live in lakes, ponds, swamps and normally immersed in wood.

It's endengered, in "LC", Least Concern.

The biggest of male up to 9 cm and female up to 12 cm.

It's eat a small invertebrates, small insects...
